Can I have a full-time job while or do night classes while attending Chiropractic
school?
Professional school is generally more time consuming as compared to undergraduate
programs. There are no night classes available and little flexibility in your class
schedule. Most semesters have anywhere between 25-30 hours per week of class time.
The amount of time, as well as the intensity of study, would make it difficult to
have a traditional full-time job.
When are application deadlines?
With two start dates during the year, applications are accepted at any time with specific
deadlines for each start date. The two start dates each year allow students flexibility
regarding finishing undergraduate studies and any logistics with respect to moving,
without a lengthy wait to begin the program.
The deadline for the spring semester is December 15 and the fall semester deadline
is July 15. However, if you are waiting for official transcripts to be transferred
to the enrollment office and have your application submitted, by the deadline, a grace
period is permitted.
What if my cumulative undergraduate GPA is below 3.0?
Campbellsville University offers multiple pathways for admissions to our DC program. If you have completed at least 90 semester hours and have a cumulative
GPA above a 2.75, you may apply for the DC program. Admission will be contingent upon
review of course work and an interview. Students will complete their baccalaureate
degree prior to graduation from the DC program.
What if I do not have 90 credit hours?
Students can be admitted to our pre-Chiropractic program to complete the necessary
90 credits. If you enter the Chiropractic program without a fully completed degree,
the 90 credits plus your first year Chiropractic education can be used to earn a baccalaureate
degree (Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts & Sciences concentration in Life Science
[BS LAS LS]). This allows you to graduate from the Chiropractic program with a bachelor's
degree as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree.
Do I need to submit GRE scores?
No. The GRE is not required for admission to the DC program.

How long does the program take to complete?
The program is 10 trimesters long and takes just a little over three years to complete.
For example, students enrolling in August 2024 will plan to graduate in December 2027.

What housing options are available?
There are multiple housing options available. Students may decide to stay in traditional
residence halls, rent a town house from Campbellsville University, or live off campus.
I live two hours away by car. I would love to save money by living at home. Can I
attend Chiropractic school and drive classes?
Class will start early - between 8-9 a.m. - and run all day. Generally, your school
day will consist of approximately 6-8 hours of classes per day and end around 5-6
p.m. For this reason, it may be difficult to drive many hours a day. However, if you
are dedicated and would like to reduce your housing expenses, you are free to live
wherever you like.
